Bedford, NH: LASER COMPONENTS, specialized provider of components and services in the laser and optoelectronics industry, introduces the first laser-generated white light source that pairs highest light density with narrow beam angles. The so-called ALBALUX FM module is set to create a new innovation wave in illumination solutions for machine vision inspection systems with higher contrast and directional lighting. Announced earlier this year at the world leading SPIE Photonics West show, the company will be demonstrating the ALBALUX FM at Automate, Chicago, IL, April 08 - 11, 2019, booth# 8536.
ALBALUX FM is a novel white light module with remote fiber optic beam output and safe drive electronics in a compact enclosure. The core of the module features LaserLight technology, a patented visible laser-diode-pumped phosphor light that generates 100x the intensity of LED with 1,000 candela per square mm. The optimized fiber optic coupling of the ALBALUX FM ensures maximum emission of white, incoherent light of >150 lumens with 1/10 the beam angle of LED sources. In short, ALBALUX FM combines the reliable efficiency of LED with bright, narrow beams of metal halide and xenon for contrast-rich and precise illumination.
