The 2018 Manufacturing in America event is co-hosted by Siemens and Electro-Matic Products and features technical seminars and exhibits focused on emerging automation, controls, drive technologies and product lifecycle management (PLM).

Auburn Hills, MI - March 6, 2018 - Patti Engineering, Inc., a leading control system integration company based in Auburn Hills, MI with offices in Texas and Indiana, today announced its participation in Manufacturing in America 2018, hosted by Siemens and Electro-Matic Products. The event will take place March 14-15, 2018 at Ford Field in Detroit. Patti Engineering will be exhibiting for the 9th consecutive year and will present two technical seminars for conference attendees.

The Manufacturing in America (MiA) conference brings together executives, engineers and enthusiasts from the manufacturing community to network, learn about the newest technologies, and share best practices. MiA is held annually in Detroit, which has the second largest concentration of engineers in the country.
Patti Engineerings interactive exhibit will feature MindSphere, the Internet of Things (IoT) platform from Siemens. Patti Engineering is the first Hybrid Operational Technology (OT) Partner for MindSphere in the US. The exhibit will be located both on the field and at their booth on the concourse.
For the second year, the MiA presents The Summit, exploring how digitalization is shaping the future of manufacturing. The Summit will feature thought-provoking presentations and discussions with leading U.S. manufacturing industry experts. Including a keynote presentation by one of the countrys most informed and respected economists, Dr. Alan Beaulieu, principal at ITR Economics.
In addition to The Summit, the MiA offers over 100 focused educational seminars, 50 hands-on product demonstrations, and networking opportunities. On Thursday, March 15th, the networking area will display the opening games for the NCAA tournament. The event is attended by over 2,600 professionals from over 800 companies.
"The Manufacturing in America event is a highlight on our annual calendar," said Sam Hoff, founder and CEO of Patti Engineering. "As it has grown over the years, it is accelerating the adoption of new technology and best practices in our region. We appreciate the partnership with Siemens and Electro-Matic to bring our interactive, IoT-focused display to attendees this year."
