DENSO Updates West Coast Training Center

Facility features new courses in an upgraded state-of-the-art setting

LONG BEACH, Calif. — DENSO Robotics announced it has updated its West Coast Training Center with new learning equipment and more course offerings to provide customers with the highest level of support and product training for their DENSO robotics systems.

Improvements to the Long Beach facility include classes on DENSOs new RC8 Controller, vision hardware, infrastructure for wireless operations, and workstations with dedicated robots and controls for hands-on training.

"Quality customer service goes hand in hand with quality products," said Peter Cavallo, robotics sales manager, DENSO Products & Services Americas Inc. "From a more user-friendly classroom to our interactive stations, our enhanced training center is another example of DENSOs commitment to the success of our customers."

DENSOs West Coast Training Center offers basic and advanced robot programming, ORiN™ programming language, operation and application courses taught by experienced instructors in a small group setting. Given the reliability and durability of its products, DENSO continues to offer courses on existing equipment such as the RC7M Controller. The redesigned center also offers online video training options, including real-time classes via remote webcast.

DENSO Robotics also offers on-site classes and an online Customer Support section on its website. The latter features a robot service frequently asked questions (FAQ) page, how-to videos, downloadable product information sheets, installation guides, user manuals, legacy-model information, white papers and contact information for DENSO Robotics Sales & Customer Service Center, Repair & Service Center, and Applications Support regional offices.

More than 77,000 DENSO robots are used for precision assembly, manufacturing, product testing and quality assurance by companies worldwide. A leader and pioneer in manufacturing automation, DENSO is the worlds largest user of small assembly robots, with more than 17,000 of its own robots designed and used in its own manufacturing facilities.

DENSO Robotics will showcase its full line of products and services at the 2015 ATX West trade show, Feb. 10-12, in Anaheim, Calif.
