KUBI leverages the conferencing capabilities of todays tablets by introducing a robotic platform or cradle on which the tablet sits. The resulting telepresence robot is then "driven" by the remote video-conferencing participant. KUBI thus turns passive video conferencing callers into active participants, as remote callers use KUBI to "look around" the room and actively engage with meeting participants.

In addition to myriad other advances, KUBI Video 2.0 is the first video client for robotic telepresence that enables users to "teleport" from one KUBI to another, whether its in the next room or around the world. The KUBI Video 2.0 App integrates streaming video calls and controls in one browser window without any software installs.
