Make3D, an Indian manufacturer, has announced the release of a medium-range DLP technology 3D printer called EKA XL.

Make3D incorporates cutting-edge heating glass tray technology into the Eka XL machine. This innovative feature involves heating the glass tray, which helps maintain the resin's proper thickness and viscosity.

EKA XL is specifically designed for use in jewelry, statues, and miniatures. It's the Economical version of Make3D's Eka HT model, offered at an affordable price. Make3D's vision is to provide a "3D Printer for Everyone," and to align with this vision, they have made Eka XL one of the most affordable DLP technology 3D printers available.

Make3D incorporates cutting-edge heating glass tray technology into the Eka XL machine. This innovative feature involves heating the glass tray, which helps maintain the resin's proper thickness and viscosity. When the resin has the correct viscosity, it adheres better to the build plate, reducing suction forces within the tray. This combination of features results in a smoother and more reliable 3D printing process.

Material Use in Eka XL DLP 3D printer.
The Eka XL 3D printer is super versatile. It can handle two types of resins:
1. Castable Resins: These are for making things like jewelry and dental models that you want to turn into metal later. It's like making a mold for something special.

2. Non-Castable Resins: These work for lots of different things, from prototypes to sculptures and engineering parts. They're like the all-purpose option.

What's cool is that you can switch between these resins on the same printer. So, whether you're an artist, engineer, or jeweler, the Eka XL can bring your 3D printing ideas to life, no matter what you're creating. It's like having a tool that can do many jobs in one.

Technical Features
The Eka XL is constructed with an MS body and offers a build volume of 125x70x140 mm, with a layer resolution of 48 microns in the X and Y directions and 20-70 microns in the Z direction.
The UV source has a lifespan of over 20,000 hours. Eka XL accepts STL and DPF file formats for input.

The printer weighs 40 kilograms and measures 400x380x790 millimeters. It comes equipped with a CNC anodized print head.

Accessories
In addition to the Eka XL printer, Make3D provides several accessories at no extra charge, including a UV curing oven, one resin tray, 500 grams of non-castable resin, onsite training, and shipping with insurance. Make3D also offers genuine licensed software for machine operation and slicing, with lifetime validity and updates.

Application
Make3D's DLP 3D printers excel at producing detailed jewelry items like rings, bracelets, earrings, and bangles, sometimes as thin as 0.2 mm. The Eka XL is also versatile, capable of creating molds, sculptures, engineering parts, and prototypes.
