AMADA WELD TECH will be highlighting its WL-100A Fibre Laser Welding System at MedtecLIVE, to be held 23-25 May 2023, at the Exhibition Centre in Nuremberg, Germany.

Visit Hall 1 Stand # 512 to see a variety of precision laser and resistance welding equipment, including the DC-H3000A spot welding power supply with low force weld head, the AWS3 active welding system with motorised weld head, and the MM-L400A real-time laser welding process monitor.

The versatile and easily configurable WL-100A Fibre Laser Welding System on display is an advanced processing system that enables the joining of aluminium and copper battery tab material, which reduces resistance and improves performance. The system works well, when welding dissimilar materials such as copper to aluminium, aluminium to stainless steel and steel, and copper to stainless steel.

Also, on display is the DC-H3000A high frequency inverter spot welder, a high-performance resistance spot welding power supply that combines a touch panel, integrated database, process control and monitoring with ultra-high duty and low ripple 3000 A DC output. Integrating state of the art technologies, this unit offers unsurpassed levels of real-time SPC process control, allowing welding database profiles to be stored, monitored, and adjusted from anywhere in the world.

The AWS3 active welding system, shown here combined with an electric weld head FM-250A (higher force range, up to 250N), combines pneumatic or servo motorized weld heads/weld pincers with an inverter power supply in one system. With its variety of interfaces, AWS is easy to integrate for automation. The complete system is an integrated solution providing process control, monitoring, and quality analysis.

Visitors to the stand can also see the soon-to-be-released MM-L400A real-time laser welding process monitor, a compact, lightweight unit that supports laser welding technologies for spot or seam welds. The monitor, which captures high resolution waveforms in addition to measuring the laser power, can also be networked for easy data transfer, analysis and storage.
