First introduced at SPS - Smart Production Solutions in November 2019, TOSIBOX® Lock for Container is now available through Tosibox sales. TOSIBOX® Lock for Container can run on any IPC, HMI, PLC, controller or other devices supporting Docker container technology. Coined as one of the most important IoT technology evolutions of 2019 by IoT Analytics, containers enable building modern (cloud-based) applications, thus bringing a whole new set of flexibility and performance to deployments. For TOSIBOX® Lock for Container, the Docker platform ensures software separation form PLC system software, guaranteeing safe use and installation. The installation is simple, and the license can be quickly activated. The software runs behind NAT and in firewalled networks, and the VPN throughput is only limited by network connection. TOSIBOX® Lock for Container provides end-to-end encryption between TOSIBOX® devices.
