ZYFRA to Demonstrate Universal CNC Machine Data Collection System at Finland´s High Riders Week

Finland-based ZYFRA Group plans to its real-time machine monitoring and manufacturing data collection (MDC) system to Germany as Finland's High Riders innovation week kicks off in Munich on March 19th.

ZYFRA's focus is on implementing IoT technologies - i.e., connecting machines, industrial robots and units to the network to create a single information space within the enterprise. Working with more than 250 companies, ZYFRA's fleet of "connected" equipment comprises over 8,000 machines. In Germany, its priorities are tooling companies and automotive industry manufacturers (including car-parts producers).

At the end of 2018, Frost & Sullivan named ZYFRA its European Entrepreneurial Company of the Year on the basis of its MDCplus solution.
"The MDCplus machine data collection system enables customers from diverse industry verticals to remotely track the operational performance of assets and processes in Industry 4.0 environments. In contrast to its top competitor's solution, which only shows superficial data such as vibration and temperature, ZYFRA's MDCplus offers an additional section that lists measurable parameters including spindle rotation rate for a specific work shift time frame. Furthermore, ZYFRA has been able to revolutionize the customer experience in terms of customizability of modules, a feature its competitors lack in their products," according to the Frost & Sullivan report.
Digital leverage in manufacturing is an indicator of growth in 2019, with digital solutions becoming more affordable and growing competition between digitalizators. Whereas in the past, the majors dictated prices appropriate for larger corporations but too expensive for middle and small enterprises, there are now new vendors taking their share of the market in certain areas. ZYFRA's spokesmen say their key advatnage is the flexibility of their solution and multiband CNC machine support.
"We are happy to see the way in which ideas and know-how are spreading in the modern world, irrespective of borders and legislation. Innovative Finnish companies and products are making huge steps toward global market leadership with every passing year. ZYFRA's solutions are a vivid example of how cutting-edge ideas are growing into high-demand products for manufacturing businesses worldwide", said Ilkka Saarinen, Director of Nordic Markets Development at ZYFRA Group.
"We understand that Germany is the world-leading market both in manufacturing and innovative approaches to production monitoring and process management. The concept of Industry 4.0 and industrial IoT is already mature in Germany and companies are constantly looking for more features and a more comprehensive approach. That is where we see our opportunity to meet the growing requirements of business with our IoT solutions", observed Andrey Lovygin, Head of International Business of ZYFRA at ZYFRA Group.
According to a recent McKinsey report, the application of IoT is projected to generate $1.2 to $3.7 trillion of value globally by 2025, in four primary forms: operational efficiency, predictive and preventative maintenance, supply chain management, and inventories and logistics. Analysts anticipate that the application of IoT to maximize factory floor efficiency will have the largest impact among the four IoT areas of application, increasing productivity by as much as 25 percent.
"We are glad to be a part of this Finnish-German cooperation and are looking forward to helping manufacturing companies in both countries become even more efficient and cost-effective", added Lovygin.
ZYFRA Group was founded in November 2017 and currently operates in Finland, China, Russia, Bulgaria, and India, with over 8,000 CNC machines across these countries currently connected by its platforms. By the end of 2018, more than 270 production facilities were equipped with ZYFRA products.
