Rennco Unveils a New High-Speed, Automated Bagging Solution at Pack Expo 2017
Renncos NextGen 301 operates at up to 60 BPM and delivers greater flexibility, faster changeover, and reduces labor and material consumption. (Rennco Pack Expo Booth # C-3229)
Rennco, powered by Pro Mach, introduces at Pack Expo, September 25-27 in Las Vegas, the NextGen 301, a new high-speed vertical bagger. The NextGen 301 is the latest addition to Renncos next-generation platform of baggers designed to increase throughput, improve flexibility, lower labor, and reduce material consumption compared to last-generation baggers. When it comes to polyethylene, polyolefin, and PVC bags, Rennco is a market leader in delivering innovative, reliable, cost-effective solutions for fully automated, semi-automatic, and hand-loaded bagging operations. The high-speed NextGen 301 is rated at up to 60 bags per minute (BPM). Extensive use of servo control ensures smooth motion and faster changeover for greater flexibility. Servo control leads to easier and faster bag customization for minimized material consumption and low overall cost of ownership. The NextGen 301 also incorporates a servo controlled trim-windup system.
Easier to maintain and less operator involvement
The NextGen 301 has a lower profile and streamlined frame, which makes it easier and more ergonomic for operators to load film. Because film roll handling is easier, larger.
rolls can be used, which extends the time between loading. This frees operators for other tasks. The low, streamlined frame also results in faster and easier maintenance as key systems are more accessible.
The flexibility of the NextGen platforms infeed design frees operators from hand loading and reduces labor. The infeeds design also expands the range of products that can be bagged on the NexGen 301 for greater versatility and lowers labor time through the automatic flow of products from upstream machines.
Three NextGen machines from which to choose - two will be at Pack Expo
Three NextGen baggers cover most application needs. A NextGen 501, introduced at Pack Expo in 2016, will also be on display in Las Vegas. The 501 is at the larger end of the spectrum with a maximum bag width of 36 inches. The NextGen 301 produces bags with a maximum width of 24 inches. For narrower applications, the NextGen 201 seals bags with a maximum width of 10 inches.
