Single KU115 Prodigy Logic Module Well-Suited for Calculation-Intensive Applications

SAN JOSE, Calif., Jan. 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- S2C, Inc., a leading provider of FPGA-based rapid prototyping solutions, has announced the availability of its Single KU115 Prodigy Logic Module that supports the Xilinx Kintex UltraScale XCKU115 FPGA. Internet of Things (IoT) designs and other small to medium-sized SoCs will benefit the most from this latest addition to S2C's family of Kintex UltraScale prototyping solutions. Prodigy KU is well suited for calculation-intensive applications with the most DSP resources of any other board on the market. The prototyping board also boasts 48 GTH transceivers for high-speed communication throughput. This low cost, all-purpose, stand-alone prototyping system is integrated with S2C's market-leading, vast library of daughter cards to quickly build prototype targets.

The System features 6th generation remote management functions through either USB or Ethernet. Prodigy Player Pro™ Runtime Software is included and can be run on both Windows and Linux systems to perform basic functions such as FPGA download, write/read on-board SD card for off-line download, clock and reset set-up, I/O voltage settings, hardware monitoring, and self-test. The Player Pro Runtime Software also supports Virtual SWs & LEDs for simple tasks such as changing a setting or indicating a condition remotely, and automatically determining which daughter cards are installed on Logic Modules or cable setups between connectors.
