Manufacturing Day is a national recognition featuring events, tours and speakers that give modern manufacturers an opportunity to open their doors and show what manufacturing is today — and what it isn't. Numerous SME chapters across the country are taking part in several of the nearly 2,000 scheduled Manufacturing Day events.
"Manufacturing Day is a great opportunity for all of us to share what we've learned and know; what we do and how we do it - with an interested, engaged audience," said Dean Phillips, event organizer and SME Nashville chapter officer. "We need the interest and energy of these collaborators, partners and especially these students - our future innovators and employers."
