Ken Wyman | Allied Motion

Your company will be exhibiting at AUTOMATE 2017, what is it that makes this an important event for your company?

Automation and material handling are two areas of focus for us to apply our motion control solutions. Many of our customers and potential customers will be exhibiting at Automate, and we want to present our newest products and solutions to them firsthand.

What can a visitor to your booth expect to see this year?

This is Allied Motion’s inaugural exhibition at Automate. So visitors will see, many for the first time, our capabilities and products for automation industry solutions.

Any new products you will be introducing?

Allied Motion is in booth 2250, and because this is our first time at Automate, all of our products are essentially new to the Automate audience, but we are especially excited to showcase our HeiMotion brushless servo motor family.

When you get a chance to walk the exhibit hall floor yourself, what is it you will be most interested to see?

We are keen to learn more of what’s new in robotics, especially mobile and service robots. Actually, all of the many innovative products and system that usually debut at this event are what we hope to cover on our walks.

AUTOMATE 2017 has over 100 educational sessions, is your company involved in any of them this year?

Not as presenters. This being our first Automate, we want to drink in as much “education” as possible by attending events.

When you book a booth for a tradeshow like this what are your expectations and what does your company hope to accomplish at the event?

We want to introduce Allied Motion to the exhibitors and attendees of Automate as an accomplished, growing motion solutions provide that can help them change the game!
