ISA and Beamex release a second free calibration e-book
The e-book—featuring 23 concise pages covering essential topics related to effectively managing a calibration program—is a follow up to Calibration Essentials, the first collaborative publication on calibration between ISA and Beamex that was made available in February of 2018.
Research Triangle Park, NC (28 March 2019) - The International Society of Automation (ISA) and its Beamex partner today announce the release of a new, free e-book called Calibration Essentials - Managing Your Program.
The e-book—featuring 23 concise pages covering essential topics related to effectively managing a calibration program—is a follow up to Calibration Essentials, the first collaborative publication on calibration between ISA and Beamex that was made available in February of 2018.
While both e-books are complementary resources, it's not necessary to read the first one before reading the second. The first edition highlighted many of the cutting-edge tools and approaches proven to alleviate many of the labor-intensive calibration processes in industrial plants and factories.
The second edition explores those strategies and technologies—applicable to both executives and technicians—that support a comprehensive calibration program, ensure efficiency and effectiveness, and help facilitate ongoing gains in productivity. Obtain it today!
"ISA is excited to build upon our partnership with Beamex, one focused on delivering valuable educational resources for driving best practices in calibration techniques and instrumentation process improvement," says Rick Zabel, ISA Group Publisher. "By offering these resources at no cost, we can make them widely available throughout the automation community."
"At Beamex, we harness the power of automation to improve calibration processes while saving time and expenses," explains Greg Sumners, President of Beamex, Inc. "Our collaboration with ISA in developing these informative e-books leverages our mutual strengths and expertise. Together, we clearly outline the value and benefits of automating and digitalizing a calibration program along with the tangible guidelines for doing so."
