Prima Power Highlights LASERDYNE® 811: Advanced Multi-Axis Laser Processing System

Versatile solution for precision welding, drilling, and cutting across various industries

Prima Power, a global leader in sheet metal working manufacturing solutions, highlights the LASERDYNE® 811 Advanced Laser Processing System, engineered to handle both small and large parts simultaneously. This cutting-edge 3-axis laser machining system is designed to meet the demanding requirements of precision welding, cutting, and drilling applications across various industries.

LASERDYNE® technology offers specialized laser processing developed through expertise. At the core of the LASERDYNE 811 is its advanced motion system, ensuring exceptional accuracy and repeatability. The system boasts a large work envelope of 1000 mm x 1000 mm x 600 mm, providing ample space for a wide range of part sizes. With rapid traverse speeds of up to 50 m/min, the LASERDYNE 811 significantly reduces cycle times and enhances productivity.

The LASERDYNE 811 is equipped with the innovative BeamDirector®, a unique feature that provides enhanced flexibility and precision. The BeamDirector® offers 900° rotary and 300° tilt motion, allowing access to complex part geometries and enabling drilling at angles as shallow as 10° from the surface. This capability significantly expands the system's versatility, making it ideal for intricate 3D parts processing.

Another key feature of the LASERDYNE 811 is its quick change nozzle system. This system allows for rapid nozzle changes, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. Operators can quickly switch between different nozzle types to accommodate various laser processing requirements, further enhancing the system's flexibility and efficiency.

The system's rigid structure and granite base contribute to its mechanical stability, guaranteeing smooth movements and precise laser processing. Prima Power has integrated its proprietary SmartTechniques™ software, making complex programming tasks more intuitive and efficient. Despite its impressive capabilities, the LASERDYNE 811 requires minimal floor space, making it an ideal solution for facilities with space constraints.

The LASERDYNE 811 is compatible with various laser sources, including fiber, CO2, and Nd:YAG lasers. This flexibility allows users to choose the most suitable laser type for their specific applications, whether it's high-power continuous wave (CW) lasers up to 6000 watts or quasi-continuous wave (QCW) fiber lasers up to 20,000 watts. The system's high-quality beam delivery ensures optimal performance across all laser types.

Equipped with Prima Power's S94P controller, the LASERDYNE 811 offers real-time process control and monitoring. The system's SPC data acquisition feature ensures compliance with industry standards, including Nadcap requirements. Additionally, the auto focus control (AFC) and optical focal control (OFC) features enhance precision and automate complex trajectories.

The LASERDYNE 811 is designed for long-term reliability and minimal downtime. Its energy-efficient laser sources and low operating costs make it an economical choice for businesses of all sizes. The system's design also prioritizes easy maintenance access, further reducing downtime and simplifying upkeep.
